Senior Group Manager, Product Planning
Yuval Steiman is the head of Genesis product strategy in the United States and is responsible for guiding the strategic direction and introduction of the Genesis lineup. In this role, he collaborates with a variety of stakeholders, including the Genesis strategy team in Korea, Genesis product planning, engineers, designers, field offices and agency partners to deliver vehicles and experiences for the modern day luxury consumer.
Prior to his tenure at Genesis, Steiman worked for Toyota Motor Sales USA, Inc. from 1999-2016, where he held numerous positions throughout the organization. His most recent role with the company was National Manager of Lexus Product Marketing and Motorsports, where he led development of Lexus marketing strategies for all product launch and sustainment efforts, and developed a new Lexus motorsports strategy.
He also held the position of National Manager of Advanced Product Strategy from 2011-2015. In this position, he optimized the future product line-up for Lexus, Toyota and Scion brands by prioritizing market needs and engineering resources based on future market and consumer trends. He also collaborated with designers to develop and propose future product concepts. In addition, while at Toyota, he was the Lexus Incentives and Marketing Intelligence Manager from 2008-2010, where he managed national incentives to optimize Lexus sales and profit. Other roles at Toyota included: Lexus Strategy and Business Planning Manager, Lexus Product Planning Manager and Lexus Product Planning Administrator.
Steiman also worked for Land Rover North America, Inc. from 1994-1997 before joining Toyota. At Land Rover, he was a Market Analyst, where he prepared and presented detailed market analyses and recommendations on viability of retail location proposals.. He also held the position of Distribution Analyst at Land Rover, overseeing the growing national distribution system.
He received his Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing and corporate strategy from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and received his Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Maryland.
